Hello Everyone! I am 26 year old mother of two kids ages 6 and 2. I stay at home full time with the kids(the 6 yr old is going into 1st grade) I have not taken any college classes at all and it has been 6 years since highschool...My LPN school does not require any pre-reqs at all..I did have to take the TEAS test and interview! My question is that if I have never taken a college class befor will I be able to take in the info? I am worried that it might be too hard since I havnt had any prior college experience:eek:

Hi all! I was the person who originally posted this question........I am here to say that Jan 4th I graduated first in my class! It was a long 18 months but I did it!!!!! I did miss out on a few important events during the time but I believe it was all worth it... I just took my nclex-pn on monday and found out the next day that I PASSED!!!!! I had 85 questions and was unsure of the results, but in the end it all worked out....Also I had a job interview today so I hope it pans out...It is in LTC and starts out at 17/hr.....I hope to go back to school for my RN in the next few years...until then I am just going to work and make money and get experience.....I just stopped in to let everyone know you can do anything you puy your mind to!!!!!

Congratulations!!

I love when people come back and update.

Congrats on your achievement. Best of luck in your new adventure as a nurse!!

Very awesome!

Awesome! Thanks for the update! I'm almost half way through my program and have done very well so far. All A's! So far so good. It's been hard and I feel tired. I hope that it will worth it in the end!
