I'm starting an LPN Program next year. I'm currently a CNA, and I have had a few semesters of college behind me. Courses that are relevant: A&P, EMT-B, Nursing Chem.
Is there anything I can do while waiting for the program to start to get a head start and make myself a little bit more comfortable for the year?

I'm starting next spring as well...I'm currently and what I'm doing is currently working with a tutor on my weaknesses really just math.. You can start now by sharpening around the edges especially working on thing your uncomfortable with... It's best to start before classes as a preventative measure nos then to fall behind when you get started... Good luck!!
Sorry for the typos:-)And good luck again!!
I have been working with my brother on my math skills. I have also started to venture into the world of Pharmacology, because that is what scares me the most! I'm sure we will both do great next year! Good luck to you as well! (=

I'm starting LPN school next year as well (Spring 2016) and I've been reading up on medical terminology, fundamentals of nursing, and pharmacology. I have CNA and endoscopy technician experience under my belt so I'm not completely lost.
TheCommuter, thank you for posting these links. I think the contents can be very useful to us soon-to-be students.
