HELLO to all so I've started school and so far it's great it is very time consuming is the first thing I would say

I have two test Monday. I love it so far I would recommend great time management if any advice.

I recommend using a planner of some sort. Either electronic or paper. I put not only test dates in there, but also the dates that I need to begin studying for a test--eg 1-2 weeks prior.

I used a binder with tabs and folders to organize my assignments, both those upcoming and to save the ones that I'd already turned in.

Allow time to complete homework and study for tests as part of your standard schedule for the week.

If you have children, as I do, arrange your schedule so that you have allotted time to study with them and away from them. For example, I could do low key non intense reviewing with my son. But I had to do the harder work studying away from him.

Another thing: know the difference between studying hard and what I call, "pseudo-studying".

I honestly can't recall how I studied in LVN school approx 3 yrs ago, but I'm in RN school now and I know I can "pseudo-study" while watching / listening to tv. When I study this way, it takes longer to complete my tasks, but it's more pleasurable.

When I study "hard", which is rarely, I don't have the tv on and I go hard. I can learn more in less time. I kind of compare it to the way Neo learned in the matrix. (Sorry if the reference is strange)[emoji23]

Thanks, for the tips I've been studying i have to test Monday and a paper do next week. So far A&P is a little difficult we've learning the cells right now and how they work it's soooooooooo many!! How does one remember?? I made flash card s they help a lot.
