I loved (and still use) the incredibly quick series. About $20 each, they sell them in Barnes & Noble and Borders. They are pocket-sized and are great for clinicals, studying outside of school and later for your work bag. I used the maternal-neonatal facts book a lot in school. It was so helpful as a study guide for tests. The wound care facts book was great for my LTC job. Their drug book is wonderful & easy to read. Definitely buy the LPN facts made incredibly quick, it's great.

Good luck!

Maybe a test taking strategies book would not be a bad idea.

Thanks again - a greatly appreciatel all of the great advice from the experienced folks!

Get the Mosby's LPN Nclex guide book. Before each test chapter, look in the book and answer the questions. This helped me prepare for the tests in an awarding way. Good luck in school.

Thanks! Another great idea, I am glad I'll have time to study before school starts.
