Nursing Drug Handbook Guide???

Hey Everybody,

I'm looking into purchasing a new nursing drug handbook guide. I've used Mosbys, and I liked it but as far as I know it doesn't have it where you can put it into a PDA. Can anybody please give me information on the drug books that you've used and how you liked it. I'm looking for a drug handbook with the following:

1. Preferably that we can also have a software version for your PDA

2. Thorough information on herbs and contraindications

3. High Alert Drugs

4. Pregnancy Category

5. Interactions

6. If it's OTC or Rx (Mosby has that)

7. IV Medications

Any information is very helpful so please if anybody can help me choose a drug handbook I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Its a matter of Personal Preference. Nursing Drug Handbook I do not like because it is set up by categories.

It requires a lot more page turning then needed.

Davis's Drug guide hands down is the best. The reason is that it lists the drugs by name. Also anything and everything you would need to know is listed.

Davis Drug Guide hands down.....much better than Mosby's in my opinion.
