Need help learning A&P

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

So I'm a few weeks into my anatomy and physiology course for my LVN program and my teacher is extremely hard. He failed over half the class last term. So far we have taken 3 tests and I've earned a 85%, 52%, and a 76%. My average grade for the class is a 79%. I'm looking for tips anyone can offer me to help improve and understand the information better. Our next test is on the skeletal system and the muscular system. Our teacher also gives us study guides which I've been using. Does anyone have any good websites or apps? I'm meeting up with a couple of classmates today to study but any help will be great! I still have approximately 10 tests left! My other classes (foundations and nutrition) I'm doing well in with high B's. Thanks!

It's a beautiful day to save lives.

Great information :)

And they don't utilize all of the resources the professor avails to them which is purely elective. Being in nursing school I have learned to UTILIZE EVERY RESOURCE THAT IS OFFERED TO ME. Listen CLOSELY to the lectures. Record them if you can. I do it with my iPhone. Listen, listen, listen. Take notes. I find that more often than not, test questions tend to come directly from lectures, which can be rationalized verbatim from the text. And yes, use youtube. And if you can, find a website that can drill you on the different bones and muscles. I used one that worked really well but I can't remember it :sour:

This right here got my A in Physio versus my B in Anatomy. When you first hear a lecture and a difficult topic comes up and your eyes start to glaze over and smoke starts coming out your overheated brain, you can always replay and hear the lecture again outside of class and more often than not, the concept will click the second or third time hearing it.
