In nc can u challenge the LPN boards after first year RN school?

I'm am starting the RN program and I really want to challenge the LPN boards after my first year. I live in NC and I am very close to SC. My School is in NC though. Can u challenge the boards?

Ask your State Board. If they say it is allowed, then ask your school. Not all schools comply with this request from students, even if the state allows the policy.

16. Can I challenge the NCLEX exam?

The North Carolina Board of Nursing does not allow any challenges (including military Corpsmen and those that partially completed an RN program) to the Board for eligibility to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). To be eligible to apply for the NCLEX-PN, you must have completed an approved Practical Nursing Education program.
