hello, i personally im studying saunders 3rd edition, when you fail more than 3 times they make you take a review/remedial class...and the book they use its saunders also!! i recomend suzanne's study plan!go to the "nclex discussion forum" and read her instructions alot of people have taken her advise of study method and has passed!! i think it might be worth to try!!...go to student at the top, (dont matter if RN/LPN testing, its just easier to find it)after you go to the to student scroll down to nclex discussion forum click on that and then click on the top forum that says new revised suzanne's plan... she has over 100 people thanking her for passing....hope this help!! good luck!

To use Suzanne's programme you complete requirements as mentioned in her thread and once you have completed the first section you send her a pm with information as mentioned in the thread and she sends out every 2 weeks in bulk so may have to wait for it. If you have already booked your exam may have an impact to whether you have time to do her programme

I'd strongly recommend Saunders for content, and Kaplan for NCLEX strategies. I used this combination, and passed on my first attempt with the minimum of 85 questions. In addition, Kaplan has a money-back guarantee if you fail NCLEX after purchasing their book.

You really need to do both books at the same time, and devote several hours of study daily. Saunders is good for the nursing content and, therefore, it is a much longer book. You may want to answer about 150 Saunders questions daily on your CD-ROM, because it is important to become acclimated to answering questions in front of the computer. The Kaplan strategies book tells you how to approach NCLEX style questions, even if you do not know the answer.

I just passed my Boards a week ago and I agree with the commuter. I used Saunders in combination with the Kaplan book as well.I also PM Suzanne for her study plan which works with Saunders. I passed 85 questions as well.
