awesome day today!

So this has been a bumming week for me. We've had 5 tests and i did mediocre on all them even though i studied. But today was our lab! We did sterile and clean dressings! I had so much fun even though there were no real injuries. I love hands on days. How was everyone else's week?

Pretty rough as I didn't pass my assessment and have to do it over! I cried really hard and didn't sleep well at all. I have had to pick myself up and remind myself that one do-over isn't the worst thing. I also have been having trouble with my online class......I have had many online classes and this one is the worst! The set-up is not good and the teacher has been pretty non-communicative, so I have been spending a lot of time hunting information. Add to that that in our team assignment, my partner did not get her part done until the last minute and submitted without me even seeing it! And I have a test in that class tomorrow.

Next week is going to be tough.....redo the assessment, 2 clinicals instead of one (because there is a scheduling conflict with the nursing home) and an exam end of week. I am tired just thinking about it!

Oh my goodness it sounds like you have had a rough week. I'm sorry to hear that. I read your post about having to do your assessment again earlier in the week. At least you did the assessment correctly you just didn't use the terminology they wanted. Remember we are still learning and there is no shame in having a redo. You will be less nervous and more prepared for it. Good luck on your week next week! You'll do great, and don't stress over a redo.
