Advice to Become an LPN?

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

I am interested in becoming an LPN. I have been searching online for LPN programs and so much stuff comes up I don't know where to start. I live in Nassau County, NY and I want to get a good (and affordable) education. Does anyone know someplace in the area (it doesn't have to be in Nassau County but at least accessible to it) or can anyone recommend a good online school? I'd prefer a program that can get me to work ASAP.

From there I'll probably further my education but I definitely want to start as an LPN. Thank you for your help :heartbeat

:welcome: Welcome to these forums.

Although I've never been to New York, I know that Medgar Evers Community College supposedly offers an affordable LPN program.

VEEB in Nassau County. There is no online LPN program where you could get licensed in NY right now.

I don't know of any online LPN programs but if you check out your state's bon website it should list all the accredited programs. Community colleges are a great avenue, imo. Good luck.

Check out the BOCES in your area. I am going to ULster BOCES and it's 8450$.
