- 0Jul 2, '05 by texas_lvnQuote from LPN@05I got several books off ebay. i never read the books, but did tests from the CD roms. That helped tremedously. Also, a big thing to realize is while taking the NCLEX, it is a *perfect* setting, 8 hour shifts, perfect nurse to pt ratio, ect. Good Luck. I just took the NCLEX in June, and half way through the test felt like I was passing no prob, and I did. again, Good Luck!Hello guys, any help or tips about NCLEX? - 0Jul 2, '05 by jansopMy daughter and I were at books-a-million last weekend. The 2 of us are LPN's. She just got a job at the local hospital and was looking for 'dummy' books to go over before starting her new job.
She happened to strike up a conversation with another patron going through the nsg books. The lady she spoke to was going to take her Boards the next day and was trying to find any books to help her.
This is a no-no. You cannot cram at the last minute, either you know it or you don't.
You may want to review the subjects you find the hardest to comprehend.
