Nice areas for lvn/lpn's to relocate to?

Hey everyone! I will be completing school the end of this year for my LVN, and I would like to move. I just need help trying to find a nice area with good pay, housing, neighborhoods, elementary schools, colleges and all that good stuff. I was thinking like South Dakota or Idaho maybe? But I am open to anywhere, I currently live in Texas. Thank you for all your help! :]

Interesting. . . I had to relocate to Texas in order to find LVN employment.

To answer your question, I would venture across the state line to Oklahoma, either OKC or Tulsa. Both cities have low cost of living, abundant LPN opportunities, decent neighborhoods, good schools, and multiple LPN-to-RN completion programs if you ever want to further your education.

I'm not well-traveled and I've never been to NYC. . . All I know about NYC is what I've read about the city and seen of it on television programs, movies and documentaries.

What are you looking for in a new city or state of residence? What type of lifestyle?

Have you considered Colorado? The medical field is abundance here in the Springs. There is plenty of affordable housing as well as nursing positions available. There's also several colleges to choose from, depending on what you would like to pursue.
