New to...everything!

Hi i posted on the into thread but i guess i will post here too. I am a new member and a new nurse, seriously like i started working as a GPN on July 12 of this year with previous experience in financial planning so the two dont really go together. I took my boards this morning and i am freaking out a little bit. My test shut off at 85 questions which could be good because several other people from my class had the same thing happen and they all passed but on the other hand i could have sucked so bad that it decided just to end the suffering and fail me which is how i feel right now. I could use some words of encouragement. Help!

I think we all felt like that at one time; however....imagine having to take every question paper and pencil wise.

I am sure you did ok.....

Most people walk away from NCLEX, may it be PN or RN and pretty much say "What the heck was THAT??" It seems that they just want you to walk in and know 'stuff' but in most cases, the questions are far different from whatever questions were practiced while studying. I shut down at 85 and I did pass as well, but I certainly didn't believe it walking out of there...

Best wishes. How long do you have to wait for your results?

This thread was started on September 11th. Today is September 14th.

I was just wondering if the original poster has received his/her NCLEX results and, if so, what were they? Please keep us poseted. We care!
