sorry. I know there are many of these on this website, but I need a LPN. I am enrolling in a LPN program and one of the requirements for financial aid is to get a informational interview. I have set up two different appointments to do this in person and both people failed to show. Now I am hoping someone will help me here. 1.Name and title of interviewee.2.Employer name or field of work. (hospital, dr office, or nursing home)3.Contact info of interviewee. (email is fine)4.How did you get involved in this field?5.What type of education do you have?6.What are the duties performed during a typical day? Week? Month? Year? Do you have a set routine being a LPN?7.What kind of work experience would employers look for in a job applicant?8.What are important key wordsâ€ or buzz wordsâ€ to include in a resume or cover letter when job hunting in the field?9.What are opportunities for advancement?10.What are the main or most important personal characteristics for success in this field?11.What do you like most about your line of work?12.What do you like least about your job?13.What professional associations do you belong too?14.What are some of the specialty areas of LPN?15.Whom do you typically interact with on a daily basis at work?

That's a lot of personal information to ask of a stranger over the Internet.

Have you tried contacting your school to see if they could introduce you to a few of their graduates?

Maybe if 2 friends from a class met you out and you bought them lunch, they'd meet you. Also try a local ECF/ALF/nursing home

I'm sorry I would help but I treasure my anonymity. What state are you in and I can give you some ideas of where to seek an interviewee? Offer to buy coffee or chocolate or lunch. Often breaks the ice and may even give you a contact for the future

Now I am hoping someone will help me here.

The point of an informational interview is to actually conduct a face-to-face interview, in person, and in the flesh. Anyone can pose as an LPN to answer your questions. People pretend to be whatever they want to be under the cloak of internet anonymity.

Now visit a nursing home, home health company, psychiatric facility, or any number of places and meet an LPN in real life. Good luck to you.
