I just took the NCLEX PN this Wed. had 85 questions! Now I am worried sick that I might not have done well. Can anyone offer words of encouragement? I live in Los Angeles so I have to wait and wait for results.

Mine shut off at 85 and I was sick literally almost vomitting on the way home. I knew the moment it shut off I did horrible! I called my entire family on the way home and told them I failed. Well I didn't! And I was shocked! I can tell you that the ODDS of you passing with it shutting off at 85 are greater! I am almost certain you passed!! Do not worry yourself sick about it. LEt me know how you did, I am sure you will tell me you passed.

I take my lpn on 10/11, gave you give me any pointers on what type of quesitons.
I would definitely study the areas you had difficulties in your program on. My questions seemed to get harder and harder on things like cultural practices like preparing the deceased body and a lot of nutrition and infection control. I've been told that if you get progressively harder questions on items then you're doing ok. Who knows? I am waiting to see how it went.Good news I only got one cardiac and one insulin question. I only got three D/H so I guess we will see... :uhoh21:
good luck !!!!
I just took mine on 9-26 and I am in Fla. The questions I got were mostly priority questions, but I had to know the diseases to make the decision. I can tell you what I did to study and it seemed to help me pass. I did Saunders Review CD and ALWAYS Study the Rational of why you got something wrong! That is the key I do believe. I also Did a Book by EXAMCRAM FORCE-PN and I did there Cd and that was great because it is a CAT cd where it would keep giveing you the one's you missed over and over until you mastered it. I really liked that one, I learned alot from that. Then I would sit with that book and do the questions in it Makeing sure to STUDY the Rationales of why I got it wrong. I can't stress enough how important that is! Good Luck and let me know how you do please!

I studies the Sauders CD and book(most the CD) it has so many questions in all areas, and knowing your cultures and diets is very helpful.
