IF YOU DON'T MIND, I WANNA ASK ALL THE LVN'S IN CALIFORNIA HOW MUCH DO YOU GET IF YOUR AN EXPERIENCED LVN...MEANING YOU'VE BEEN IN THE PROFESSION FOR SUCH A LONG TIME...TNX...I JUST WANT TO HAVE AN IDEA....

I just got my first job and it pays $25.00. This is in a Bay Area university clinic. They will upgrade me to "Senior LVN" if I stay for one year, which pays almost $30. The benefits are incredable.

I've been licensed since November 2007 and I get paid 26 dollars/hr in San Mateo area LTC. I used to work in SF, their starting pay is 20/hr. I may as well work in San Mateo because my house is 8 minutes away. Going to San Francisco takes about 35 minutes. May as well save Gas and time. =D

In San Francisco General Hospital, I believe their starting pay is 24/hr. But their benefits is awesome. Free medical. And their retirement is 30 yrs work of experience. I don't plan to work there though, because I'm planning to work for San Mateo County.

If I need a good retire benefits. I would work for under the Government County.
