:banghead: Please help if anyone knows the answer Can an IV certified LPN in Ohio draw a Peak and Trough from an IV site? I say no but other LPN's in my facility say yes if you are not to aspirate for patency how can you aspirate for lab?

No way. LPNs can flush a PICC under the supervision of an RN but can not draw blood from a PICC.

Exactly! LPNs can not draw back for patency, blood draws, etc. Our LPNs are even not allowed to flush an IV to check for placement.
