Any tips for Mother/Baby/Peds.?

I'm entering the 4th and final quarter of the LPN program next week---Mother/Baby/Peds. I was wondering if anybody had any heads-up information to help me prepare? Are the careplans more difficult? What about dosage calculations? Common meds? Trick questions? Good reference books to have?

I will take any/all help I can get! Thanks!!!!! :monkeydance:

Ours was pretty laid back because in many cases they didn't want students doing too much especially with the new babies. The care plans were similar to the ones we did for med surg. Same as on the med surg floors you will start to recognize a lot of the same meds being ordered. It was my favorite semester and both clinicals were really fun. Enjoy!
