well actually to find out passing rates of all the different nursing schools, you go to the louisiana state board of nursings web page and you can see all the ratings, i think charity had like 85%, which is good i think lady of the lake is like 1 % higher & LSU is 1 % higher than the lake, South eastern has the highest at about 94%, but i dont think anyone has 100%, it would be nice though!

Thanks to all for your help. The fact that LSU doesn't accept A&P from Delgado is one of the reasons why I don't think I want to go there. I don't want to take it all over again. When I was in my A&P II lab they were testing out some new curriculum in order to prepare to make the lab acceptable to LSU. I worked my butt off in that class because I took it during the summer. I have basically taken all of my pre reqs for all of the nursing schools in the area. I am kind of nervous because I was so confident that I was going to get into someones nursing school that the thought of me not being accepted never crossed my mind. I am going to remain confident and just make plans in case I don't get accepted this fall or into Charity in the spring.

I'm pretty sure as long as you have taken A&PI and II you can apply to LSU....? the hours do transfer over, they just tell you its a good idea to take it with them because they offer the cadaver lab

Although you don't have to take A&P I and II in order to apply, it does help to get them out of the way. Good luck to all of you going through nursing school now. I'll see all of you at Charity in August 2009

I know everyone is commenting on Charity or LSU, but what about William Carey??? anybody??...I'm really interested in receiving my BSN from there or Our Lady of Holy Cross.

OLHCC had a 100% pass rate for this graduating class.. William carrey not so much.. i heard they are in the midst of losing their accredidation and i also know a few girls that graduated with straight A's and didn't pass... But william carrey is shorter only 18months vs three years with Holy cross.
