Hi! I noticed that there were a few people around the forums that were going to apply to Charity for spring of 2014. I was wondering if Charity would accept a HESI score that I took for LSU? LSU was my first choice and now it's Charity. I still plan on getting a BSN, but I'd like to get working as soon as possible. Any advice on the HESI score? I plan on giving them a call, but I'm not exactly sure who I should speak with---or if I can get anyone on the phone.

Hey y'all! I came across this forum and so glad someone created it! I am anxiously waiting on our letters to come in the mail, my profile score is at a 75, I hope that's considered a high profile score. This is my third time applying but both other times my profile score was at a 50. I retook the Hesi and also got my associate's degree to raise my profile score! I've tried just about everything to get any extra points I can receive. Hope we all get in ladies!! I am located in Kenner, anyone else from the east bank side??

Does anyone know when we will receive the letters for Spring 2014?? I cannot stand the waiting!!!

I think the letters will go out in the beginning of October. Hopefully they send them out early.

When I dropped off my app, I was told that letters would be received by Oct. 1st.

I was told to expect a letter "in the first two weeks of October."

Hey anxiouslywaitin, I'm on the east bank. Do you know what is the profile cut off score is? I am so nervous. I hope we all get in as well.

I hope they send the letters out early like the end of this month or in the middle.

@Lenque Ok great, hopefully we will both get accepted and maybe consider car pooling together to help save us some money, what is your profile score? I have no idea what the cut off is hopefully its not a high number like it was for the Fall, I heard the cut off was at a 75 for Fall of 2013 but it all depends on how many applicants they receive. Gotta keep our fingers crossed.

What's every one's profile score? I would just like to know whats the average that most people reach.

I'm so ready to get something in the mail, I'm constantly checking even though I know it's too soon. haha.. Someone please post something on here as soon as you get something in the mail

Hey anxiouslywaitinViv I think my profile score is a 70. Im not really sure. I made a 74 on the hesi test but I have a Bachelor's Degree and Associates Degree; hopefully that would be enough for me to get in. I hope that the profile score isn't to high. I'm having car troubles right now. Hopefully it would get fixed before school. I'm patiently waiting but I'm scared to know. Do we have to pay for our uniforms ourselves or would the school help us? I hope we all get in. I would be excited to meet all of my soon to be class mates!!!!

I believe my profile score is a 75. I made an 89 on the HESI. This wait is so long!

I am expecting my first baby at the beginning of October. Does anyone have any advice or know how the schedule of classes will be? I am 26 and this will be my second degree. I have been trying to get into nursing school for 2 years now. LSU interviewed me twice but I was never accepted. This will be my first attempt at Charity and the thought of postponing school just kills me. Someone out there please put me at ease. Thanks!

Hi sdesselle! Congratulations on the baby!!! From what I understand, the classes in Nursing I are Monday-Thursday for about half of the day. You can definitely do it... I got through my special education degree at Southeastern pregnant and then with a baby for 2 years. I am now doing it again with a ten year old and very active 3 year old. LOL! Also, you will have the summer off to spend with your baby :)
