"BR GENERAL NURSING PROG " Anyone who is in or was in BR General Nursing prog, that can answer this.

1.Has anyone gotten into the BRGeneral Nursing Prog with a 3.4 GPA or lower?

2. Does BR General , take into consideration that you have worked at BR General? If so, how much of an advantage is this?

3. What was your GPA and TEASE Score? Did you work at the BR General?

4. Do/did you like the BR General Nursing Program?

5. Know of anyone with a 3.4 GPA or lower who got in?

Any helpful answers/ comments appreciated

It's because the majority of people on the La board go to either lsu or charity. I attend nicholls and couldn't find any feedback about this program here. It's best to try to search very old post. I was looking into applying at BR General before I was accepted for the BSN program. All I can say is your GPA is probably good enough to get in since the competition is not as high. Good luck!

I was in the program 2 years ago. I had about a 3.5 gpa and my Tease score was 70 the first time. I got on the waiting list and got in the next year with a tease score of 72.

They give extra "points" when applying to people who've applied before and to people who work for BRG.

I absolutely loved BRGSON. They are like family and I'm sad I dropped when I did. I still talk to all my classmates and teachers. They are there to help and make sure you pass. They are hard on you because they know what you are capable of doing. If and when I go back, I will never consider another school because they are too awesome.

So If I do good on the TEAS I may have a chance ? still waiting on my results I took it at the PSI center in BR. And work at a BR general hospital. I took the HEISI before and will be taking the HESI for Charity in Aug. Keeping my options open because really want this and am determined. Thank yall for responding! Oh and I am looking at Nicholls school as well , incase I am denied at these two schools. New t schedule my classes for the fall there.
