Ahhh, Is it a step program where you license as an LPN?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. It's a two-year associated degree in nursing (RN). It consists of four semesters. Once you have completed two of the four semesters, you can take the NCLEX-PN (LPN) exam and either keep going for the last two semesters to get your RN, or you can stop and remain an LPN.
I plan on taking the LPN exam and working as an LPN while I'm finishing up the last two semesters of the RN program. Is this what you were referring to?

Yes, except at the college I went to, (the other bccc), we were required to license as an LPN to continue in the program. We also had to do a summer rotation too, so we ended up with about 4 1/2 semesters of nursing.
Some of the programs (like Hutch I think) just go straight to the RN I think.
Just curious.

I am getting ready to take the NET test and am very nervous, especially on the math section. Does anyone have any idea if the NLN test is similiar?

I am taking the net test on the 20th of June ..
It is what the college I go to determines who gets in .. Entirely based on Net scores ..
Grade Point average does not matter.... There are 27 coveted slots and about 120 take the Net test ..
It is entirely based on Math and Comprehensive Reading . Actually it is showing more students fail on the Reading than the Math ..
The Reading is a lot of inference questions which can be very confusing .. You need to conclude what the reader is saying or what he/she is infering ..
There are other test with it but those are not graded just used for the college as how to teach that class .. ie meaning visual learners , hearing learners etc..
IT also test your reading rate but that is not included in the test scores
Only the reading comprehension and the Math
The Math is 60 questions .. you have 60 minutes .. It includes 6 algebra simple problems which is not simple if you have not had algebra .. Think of order of operations as that is about what it is and very basic algebra
It has 2 questions on ratios .. and questions on fractions to decimals . Decimals to fractions .. 1 third of the questions are percentage questions
The reading is the most difficult ..
I am nervous .. But I have been studying for it ..
I hope this helps .. Oh you have 30 minutes on the reading .. It would be best to READ THE QUESTIONS FIRST then read ..
That is exactly what the book says .. and make sure you look at WHAT QUESTION IT IS ASKING FOR
INFERENCE - or - MAIN IDEA- or CONCLUSION
My grade point average is a 4.0 but that doesnt even count into the equation ..
I dont think that is quite right but that is the way it is
at this school .
GOOD LUCK
