Anyone attended this university?

What are the teachers like?

Im really interested in others who have completed the accelerated BSN program. Did you feel well prepared?

I applied for fall 2014 and finally got an email back saying I was waitlisted :( anyone else hear back yet? They said about 35 people were placed on the waitlist.

I received a reply early April and I was accepted for Fall 2014.

Did you have all of your prerequisites that they listed?

I did have all mine completed, but in an email question I had sent them earlier when I was applying, they said you could apply while completing the prerequisites.

I had all of my prerequisites done except for my second semester of anatomy and physiology with lab and chem lab! Still no word about getting off the waitlist..

I was accepted to the Fall 2014 start, I got my acceptance letter and sent the deposit in but I haven't heard anything else yet, has anyone else received information on start dates or orientation?

I was accepted as well, my check has surely been deposited, but I haven't received any correspondence yet.

Bnotz - I'm trying to make the transition from LE to nursing as well after 9 years! I'm waiting for my transcripts to clear so I can apply to the Spring 2015 semester. Good luck in the fall.

I applied for the Spring 2015 semester too, i am hoping I get in.

Are you from Kansas too.

Email me. [email protected]

Does anyone know when the Fall 2015 accelerated BSN application is due?

Anyone who has attended this program: What are the breaks like throughout the year? Do you get breaks in between semesters?

I would like to know the same thing. Good question! Hopefully someone can give us some more info...

They have 2 cohorts (intakes) per year: Spring and Fall (Check the school's website for more info on this)

The program is divided into 6 modules.

There's a 1 week break between each module.

You get 1 week break for Thanksgiving

You get almost a month break for Christmas holiday.

Its not as intense as some people have made it sound. But obviously, I am saying so because I take my time to hit the books. It's an accelerated program, 5 days a week, so don't expect it to be slow paced. Some people are working on the weekends, so depending on your motivation level, it's possible to work in between, but then again, this will depend on the individual.

I also yearned for this information before I got in, so I hope this helps others in evaluating your options.

Good Luck.

Disclaimer: Everybody is different, so what works for others might not necessarily work for you.

I applied for fall 2015 but not heard anything yet :nailbiting:

I was conditionally accepted a week ago. I believe I was accepted in the first wave so I think there are still quite a few spots left. Good luck and I hope you hear something soon!
