Anyone attended this university?

What are the teachers like?

Im really interested in others who have completed the accelerated BSN program. Did you feel well prepared?

Also if anyone that has went through this program was able to hold a part time job as well I would like to know how that worked out to see if it is something I want to try to handle as well, thanks!

I would like to apply to Mid America Nazarene in the fall but I am so confused on the process. I was told that you don't have to have your pre reqs completed to apply to the program. There is no entrance exam either. I am currently an LPN looking to get my BSN in as little time as possible. I work full time and I am a single mom. My question is if you were a student here what was your experience getting in and what criteria are they looking at to accept students if your pre reqs dont have to be complete. How many did they accept and what GPA was average for getting in? I have a few more classes to go! I just want to get in!!!!!

I'm on the wait list now for Mid America Nazarene March 2014. Anyone else?

I am wanting to apply to the program for Fall of 2014. What is the work load like? From reading online I saw its about 63 credit hours in the 12 months. For those of you who are in/completed the program is it as hard as it sounds? Obviously it's nursing school.. but I don't want to get in over my head.

Specializes in M/S.

I am almost done with the application process through nursingcas for fall 2014.

Anyone? And are you from Kansas?

I applied for fall 2014! I'm from Kansas. Do you know when we are supposed to hear back?

Hi,

I applied for the Fall 2014 ABSN, I haven't heard anything, did you apply and have you heard whether or not you were accepted? The last thing I heard was that they were going to let the applicants know in mid March, which has come and gone...

Have you heard anything yet? I've applied too but no word yet...

I applied for fall 2014! I'm from Kansas. Do you know when we are supposed to hear back?

I applied for fall 2014 and finally got an email back saying I was waitlisted :( anyone else hear back yet? They said about 35 people were placed on the waitlist.

I got accepted for fall 2014. I am really excited and can't wait to start the program. It is my understanding they have an additional nursing campus in Liberty, Mo. I hope I can attend this campus because it is much closer to my home, if not, that's okay. Anyone else get accepted for fall 2014 out there, if so, what is your background (education, work experience, age, GPA, etc...)? I graduated from UMKC with a BA in Criminal Justice almost 15 years ago. I am 41 years old and have been working in law enforcement in CA. My wife and I have a 1 year old and 3 year old and decided we wanted to be close to our families (both our families live in the area) so we moved back to MO. I've always been interested in nursing so I am giving this a 100%. My undergrad GPA was not the greatest but my last 50+ credits is about a 3.9. I cannot wait to meet my classmates, and I am looking forward to August.

I'm wait listed too. Have you heard anymore?

Did you have all of your prerequisites that they listed?
