Was wondering if anyone can help. I am a dual qualified nurse in paediatrics and learning disabilities ( intellectual disability, i think the term is in australia ). I have specialised for many years in respite care for children with physical and learning disabilities. With some form of medical issue.I am interested in working in new south wales region. Can asnyone tell me what the job situation is like and is it private or government funded services, etc.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

I've a friend who works exactly in the fields your qualified in, perhaps she can help. She graduated from Uni. in NSW but currently practices in WA in the Perth area. Her name is Heather Leidich, [email protected]

Good Luck
