Hi I am currently working in california as nurse and I am still on work permit waiting for my greencard. I have been separated with my family for a long time because of very slow immigration. I would like to try Canada instead. Can I bring my family with me as soon as I get my work permit in Canada?Thanks.

Try checking the Immigration Canada website. Working nurses in Canada, don't have these answers for you.

But you do know our job market in the word of my teenagers "sucks"?

If you are fortunate to meet the province requirements and find a job and make sure you include your family from the start there is no reason why they can not join you in Canada. However a lot will depend on the province you wish to work in, college requirements (college is the Canadian equivalent to BON) and that you can find a employer once you have eligibility to sit CRNE. Many provinces are struggling with jobs etc so will be even harder as a IEN.

If you are in the US on a work permit then you should be able to get your family across but depending on work visa the spouse may not be able to work
