My interview experience was different but very nice one. First the consul reviewed our docs, fingers printed, and asked us to sit for a while, when we came back the consul asked few questions, then asked us to raise our right hand for sworn statement, signed backside of DS230 and sent us to pay the courier. They gave us copies of medicals in big brown envelope. The consul officers were so very kind, friendly with good sense of humour...
One thing I want to share to other IV applicants, please make sure that you have "
unconditional job offer" letter/contract from your employer. The US consul required my employer to "rephrase" my contract and fax it ASAP prior to releasing our visas by next week...
As I always say-
