hello thecommuter,

i'm a filipina nurse and im planning to take texas nclex exam... my question is do i have to take cgfns and toefl before i can take the nclex exam? and what is CES?

Sorry, but I don't know what the 'cgfns' is. I don't know the issues involving the TOEFL. I do not know what CES is, as I am not knowledgeable regarding the requirements faced by international nurses.

Please take the time to read the Primer at the top of this forum for information that you need to have.

We do not have state NCLEX exams, it is a national exam that is accepted in all 50 states, you are applying for licensure as an RN to the state of Texas.

CGFNS exam is not required for Texas. The CES is, and can be found on the website for CGFNS: www.cgfns.org
That will need to be completed before Texas will even look at your application.
