Hi, just wanted to start this thread for additional information regarding PinoyCare Visa Center. I hired them to process for my canadian immigrant visa last June 2009. I just got an email from my analyst with regard to the EMBASSY FILING FEE i have to pay in bankdraft form. They gave me an amount which i have to deposit in one of their candian dollar accounts because the canadian embassy only accept bankdrafts in canadian currency, according to pinoycare visa center.

I just want to know if the amount they stated is d actual amount paid to the embassy or are they putting additional amount for themselves? and if i can just deposit the embassy filing fee from someone who has a candian dollar account, thus saving me a few thousand pesos?

anyone here who has an idea?

thanks!

Am I correct in my understanding, that you really don't know how much the filing fees are? Seriously. Can't you Google that? Didn't you do any research prior to making the decision to apply as an immigrant to Canada?

Sorry for responding with more questions. I just find it inconceivable that anyone can make a life-altering decision like immigrating to another country, without getting facts to support that decision. And, really, filing fees are pretty basic. Why don't you just Google what filing fees you're being billed for and do the Math?

As well, the embassy website would have information on the acceptable mode of payment. It's no great mystery. You just have to have some amount of initiative to go after what you need.

Good luck!

If you go to the CIC website they have a list of all fees that are to be paid.
