nearly qualified -working in a and e

I was wondering if anyone knows how easy it is to get a job in a+e straight after qualifying and being in the paeds branch?I'm nearly qualified as a paeds nurse, but was wondering if you can work in a+e straight after qualifying?

I'm a paeds nurse too and only qualified 6 months ago. I have been asked if i would like to go to A&E but i don't feel i have enough experience yet. I feel as though i need to get more experience on the wards first. Our A&E do like nurses to have some experience first. Good luck in what you do :)

I'd say get some experiance!! I have been qualified 23yrs and think a&e is the most stressful place you can work..... and going there with no general experiance would be my biggest nightmare!!
