My wife just passed NCLEX this mounth and I really need your help especially those who have already landed a job as RNs in hospitals there in ny. She is a foreign graduate and she is currently working as a shift supervisor(pediatric class) nurse and ICU graduate here in Israel. My question is, would employers of hospitals in NY accept my non US hospital experience (if ever I get accepted in a hospital here) inorder to get a job as an RN there? I really need your help. Your advices are much appreciated. Thank you!

She would need to submit details of her nursing education to the New York board of nursing and they will determine if she is eligible to take the NCLEX, which she has to pass to work in the US.

I guess I am a bit confused because your post talks about your wife to start off with and then you use my so is it you or your wife?

Also trying to find a employer in NY for sponsorship will be hard due to the high amount of local nurses looking for work
