Is it difficult to find an employer when you have interim permit in British columbia?

:sniff:I got a letter from CRNBC saying that I have to find an employer if I need to have an temporary interim permit to practice as a RN.I have applied to appear for CRNE in June.Anyone went through the same?How difficult is it to find a job?:nurse:

yes it is very difficult to find a job specially when you are an internationally trained nurse.Trying my best hope somewhere somehow things work out for me.

Also meant to reply when I moved this. It isn't just a case of sending resume/CV to hospitals but follow up with a telephone call a week or so later. Alternatively contact HR first and discuss the situation with them and see what requirements they are after and do they take IEN's

When I applied to find a job as a US trained LPN under interim permit I didn't really get any offers but when I had the actual license in hand it was a much easier process. Not sure if it is the same with the RN.

i also have an interim permit but i'm having a hard time looking for jobs.. i'm afraid, my permit will be wasted.. :cry:
