International Travel Nursing Agencies?

World International

Published

I'm currently still a RN Program student but I'm very interested in doing international nursing when I've completed the program. I have done several searches on the net for international agencies but have been relatively unsuccessful. Does anyone know of any agencies I may look into? Please post them or e-mail them to me at [email protected] Thanks! :)

i realize this is an older thread, but i am looking at the same thing and came across kelly services. i am in the process of contacting them myself so can't recommend but the website had many different countries listed and the process looked fairly straight forward. http://www.kellyservices.com

ok i must be a bonehead :rotfl: but i can't find anything for nurses when i do the job search. what key words do i need to use??

actually, you are not a bonehead :) in the note i said i was in the process of contacting them but they never did respond to my email.:angryfire go figure. have you found any other links? i am taking french classes now to try an get fluent, but it looks daunting. it looks like the best way to get to europe would be to go to england first, to get the eu status. but what a long way to get there. good luck in your search.

I'm just now trying to search on it. For us its a bit different, DH and i are both RN's and want to go overseas and take our kids to expose them to something different ya know? So i've no CLUE where to start. lol

As far as agencies, you will find that most place in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, etc. Also the Middle East. You will find very few in the US doing placements in non-English speaking environments.

There are usually a few advertising in the RN Magazine towards the back. Perhaps you can start there........... :)

I've applied to work in the UK with Continental Travel Nurse and they have been fantastic. Extremely easy to get in touch with (I mostly communicate via email), and have all the answers you need. They organise all your NMC paperwork and take the stress out of the application process. They also offer 3 month contracts at leading hospitals and even pay you holiday pay and sick pay. After the contract you can have as much time off as you want before starting the next contract. Great way to see the UK and Europe! I can't speak highly enough of them!!!

Hey I am having a hard time looking for an international nurse traveling agency. I live in the U.S.A and trying to travel to Australia for a few months to a yr. I heard about www.nurseonholidays.com and www.ogradypeyton.com. Has anyone heard of any others?? And if you heard of or been with these 2 agencies... what's your opinion about them? I will take any advice I can get!! Thanks!! :nuke:
