Even though I don't really like it, I don't really like big cities... BUT, a new student has transfered onto ,my course today, and she is from a London uni, and all they have to do is get 240 uni credits to register as a nurse, I have all ready got 240 credits( touch wood, that my last essay were ok) and will do another 120 this year.

Not that I think I am ready to be qualified, I am just pissed at the extra work my uni makes us do.... they moved the goal posts again today, and the fools have also decided that 2 4000 word essays, a teaching plan, and documented session and my CAP document have to be in before Christmas break. Which means that I have got to find time to write these whilst on placement, at uni and at work.... well I here sleep is highly overated.

sorry for ranting, but I am really re considering, not why i am doing this, but if i should still be doing this, because right now I think there is no way I will be fit to practice in a year.

I think I was just in a bad mood yesterday, and wanted to vent, it just seems ridiculous that we have to do so many more credits and work than other universities to get the same piece of paper in the end. (I checked it is not just london)

I hate living in cities, I hate driving in them, and i have to at least be able to see green,,,, so please ignore my rant of yesterday If I could I would delete it, I think I should probably buy a diary instead!

Oh Whisper!

hang in there! you are so positive and I always like reading your posts!

London is smelly and expensive and bureaucratic and smug.

i love scotland! Best holiday of my life was walking in the cullins, and some funky ridge north of fort william whose name i've forgotten.

In a year or so this will all be behind you.

First day of placement in the am... I hate the first few days, but am normaly ok after a few days, Seems a bit scary, a lot of monitors to learn about, and drains, which I read the leaflet, but I can not remember a thing about!!!

I have now decided against London, besides I have family there.. and I mean family not Family! So maybe I should head further north.... I do like Scotland, Nairn, Glen Finnan and I enjoyed visiting Sterling as well. but *sigh* I am going to do my best to finish this course, I even went and bought my third year eppilates!!!

Kermit, are you sure you have been reading my posts... One of my firends who lurks on this board says I should stop depressing you all with my drivel, and buck my ideas up!!!

In Perth (Australia!) we have 3 universities that teach nursing. They are all in the metro area. You can drive from one to another in about 25 minutes. ALl three have completely different courses in regards to course length, amount of clinical practice ect.

Stick with what you know. It will benefit you in the long run. If you chnage, you may miss something in the training.

Chin up.
