True. But now you have me thinking back to my old Collins dictionary in primary school. There were some pretty filthy four letter words which little minds such as my own used to find funny (I actually remember underlining them, because I was NEVER allowed to say those words, and yet they were in a book I had to buy for school!).
Bet they won't be in the exam...

I thought any foreign graduate nurse would have to do the English test and oral test before being accepted into another country.
Hmmmmmmm I was initially expected to do this but I bucked because I came from an English speaking country. I was 'let off' that one LOL
Then again I am having strine lessons at work and they are doing a purdy fine job hahahahaha:icon_roll

I think she means she's teaching them! lol
American's LOVE the way us Aussie's speak. :)
We were repeatedly asked to; "say something!" during our trip in 2006! lol
They loved our accent and the unique words we use.
Of course, there are those among us who think it's not 'cool' to speak Australian!
You only have to listen to younger people and hear the Americanisation of their speech!
It's as if they're embarrassed or ashamed to use our uniquely Australian language. Sad really. Especially since people from other countries LOVE it and endeavour to speak using the very words the 'cool' people reject! :icon_roll
As I've said before, I LOVE America and my American mates.
But, this is AUSTRALIA! Be PROUD to be Australian and be proud of how we speak!
There's NOTHING wrong with it!
:trout: Dohhhhhhhhhhhhhh I am teaching them the ruddy lingo ya drongo hahahahahahahahahahaa
