Can i take nclex in VERMONT or NY testing center even if im not an immigrant?


Hi i just want to ask if does anyone here knows if ever i will be planning to take my NCLEX exams in NY or VT, will the US immigration allow me and give me a US VISA to take the exam? I applied my licensure in VT. Thanks!

Will probably find it hard to get a tourist visa to sit the exam in the US considering you can now take it in Manila and other countries

Tourist visas are not given for writing of the exam, there is no reason to do that since the exam is offered all over the world and as mentioned above, directly in Manila.

There is no reason to come to the US until you have a visa in hand to work here.

Not hard to get the visa for the sole purpose of writing the exam, but impossible. They no longer grant a tourist visa for that and have not done that in years now.
