Bridge program online RPN CAnada to RN US

When I found bridge programs, LPN to RN, in USA I was so happy. Now, really, I don’t know if in my situation I can apply for an online bridge program, RPN Canada to RN US.

Please give me some advices regarding my particular case:

- I am RPN in Canada in I would like to start a bridge program online in USA college to obtain RN degree in USA, if that it’s possible.

- I didn’t have registration like LPN in USA.

- And also I don’t know if after USA on-line college graduation can apply for RN licensure in USA, that means online american's LPN to RN college degree bridge program is recognized like a RN degree of US board of nursing?

Please give some information regarding this opportunity. Thank you!

That post is from over a year ago unfortunately. I know American LPNs can go through Excelsior which is a distance program, but I don't know if a Canadian can or what immigration issues it would bring up. Maybe you should contact them?

Is Ok now. I put away Canada-USA educational credentials transfer, because my older RN background from a foreign country, was enough to start a RN carrier in USA. So...look around you! :wink2:

There was a poster from BC that was doing the US bridge. She didn't know if she'd be able to work in Canada with it, but was planning to move south anyways...

Maybe she's still lurking around the boards somewhere?
