I hope you are right...there is much celebration already on Trackitt and the hatred and unprofessional behavior is disheartening. I just wish we could have a return to schedule A but then with the current climate for nursing it really is not necessary. I am 8 months away from completing my Masters in Nursing so was even willing to look toward EB2 as I am hoping to work as a FNP but if HR 3012 becomes law this may not be possible after all the hard work and money I have spent getting this far.
I am right about the process by which bills become laws. I'm not saying I want the bill to become law, and I'm not enthusiastic about lots of IENs working in the US. I was just commenting on the legislative process because there's a lot of confusion about that within the US, let alone outside the country.

I've read this thread again and thought to myself there's something not right about the post.
Sophiabryan only has one post and asked for jimmycruz's email to refer him to the agency he/she used.
Another agency advertising their trade to skim more money from the vulnerable?

Well I do work with a lot of IEN's currently but I was actually educated in the US. I understand it is difficult for new grads to get jobs these days but that does not seem to be the case for experienced nurses. I have worked the majority of years on a floor that Americans do not want to work on so do not see myself as stealing jobs from Americans. I also do not feel unwelcome by my American friends but find it kind of disheartening to read posts like this from others. I know America can't allow all to immigrate but we came here in part due to the immigration policies of our own country making it hard for my husband to find work there. We are just trying to realize a dream many in America did when America was a little more immigrant friendly.

Hi silverdragon,Im a nurse from phil, pd is january 2006. My original petitioner abandoned my petition, luckily i have new petitioner and is cuurently on packet 1 right now. Today, january 28, i received a a snail mail dated november 10, 2011 that states im for embassy interview on dec 14, 2011. The post man didnot deliver it on time. What should i do now? Even if i have attended that interview i still cannot get job offer from my original petitioner. Is it possible that i call us embassy to reschedule my interview and just present my approved i140 and job offer from my new petitioner on my rescheduled interview? Any idea? Thank you for all your informative blogs here.

I think you will have to rearrange a new appointment and take necessary paperwork, best bet would be to talk to your new employers lawyers who have prepared the paperwork

I am however not 100% sure

    hi!
can anybody give me an inputs or idea on how to go through about my ordeal:-i'm a Philippine RN ,petitioned by US employer, unfortunately due to retrogression ,etc,my petition was abandoned-at least i presumed ( i say abandoned because there was no communication from them for a year, despite my effort to email, call them or sms them regarding my status),then NVC informed me that i am scheduled for an embassy interview.my dilemma is that, there are documents that i need from my employer whicho i have to present during the interview, and i still got no response from them, what do i haved to do.?anybody?

FYI..PD2005,visa recapture, visa fees paid by new employer, currently waiting for new embassy interview date!

don't make me look like a scammer..!
