Hi,
Hopefully someone can answer this for me.
Once you are done ALL the pre-req's AND co-reqs for the transitional LPN to RN program, how many days per week are needed for classes and clinicals?
I had heard 2 days per week for both. Is this correct?
I am doing my co-req's right now and will be applying for August or Jan but also work full time and need to continue to do so.
Thanks for any help.

It depends upon your school. Suggest you contact the director or admissions counselor for the programs you are interested in.
Thanks for the reply....................but I mentioned I am going to Ivy Tech........ Transitional LPN to RN course. They have all the same content right? ( once all pre and co req's are completed.
I am already an LPN. Just need to know how many days per week the students go after all extra's are done and just clinicals and nursing classes are left.
Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, it's 3 days a week for spring semester, and 5 for summer and fall.
FYI for Blgtn Ivy Tech Transitional LPN to RN students.
According to the chair of the Nursing Program, after you are done ALL your co-req's and pre-req's classes will be as follows:
1st semester.........2 days a week lecture only
2nd semester.........1 day a week class and 2 days of clinicals
3rd semester..........1 day a week and 2 days of clinicals
I for one did not know it was a 3 semester course, I always heard it was 2 semesters. )

That's kind of what I figured, based on the select courses that they actually post on campusconnect at my campus (Lafayette). However, the director of the program said that the second and third semesters would be five days per week! How can that be!?! It's only seven credits, and if you're given the option of taking all 14 credits in one semester, it can't possibly be five days, right?
