Indiana State University BSN Applicants 2010

U.S.A. Indiana

There almost NEVER seems to be any students/alumni on here from ISU (why is that..always Ivy Tech lol:rolleyes:), but I just wanted to do a shout out to any other students who are applying to the Fall 2010 BSN program at ISU with me! Good luck to all! It took me a while with all the hoops that I had to jump through with them (and now one more, I have to get a high school transcript to the Office of Admissions JUST for the Nursing program...no other programs makes it necessary if you have a previous degree :uhoh3: oh well, I'm jumping I'm jumping!!), I hand-delivered all the necessary paperwork and made sure they checked it while I was in the office (all bets are off after the issues I had before!) and I cannot wait to (fingers crossed) hopefully get a letter that I have been accepted!

So not just to the hopeful ISU BSN students, good luck to all that are trying to get in for Fall 2010 and to all that are on their journey:redpinkhe

Hello,

I am looking to get info on the LPN to RN bridge program. Is that the one you applied for? Do we have to retake TEAS for admission? They extended the deadline for Fall so hopefully I can get in!!! Did they take all your prereq work from your other school? Thanks for any info you can give me!!!

I applied to the BSN program, the undergraduate one ( and just got my acceptance letter!) but the school's College of Nursing website gives great info.

Indiana State University : Nursing : Baccalaureate Degree : LPN-BS Track

This will take you to the main LPN-BS track page and then on the left-hand side their are links to more info.

Good luck on your studies and I hope you get in!!!

I bought my pre- reqs. modules from TCN, this was before any other options, I have not progressed, in this, I recently thought about attending a traditional college, the plus for ISU, is of course the convenience, once I talked to Ivy-tech, I also need about 12 courses from them, to start the ASN program , so now I am a little frustrated, I have already spent the money for TCN, which has been a huge chunk, the one thing I am worried about is, clinicals, I know you need to find your own precept...it most likely wouldn't be a problem, I know alot of people, but I have so many ???? I have been on the ISU, sticky on here, it was very helpful and I looked over ISU, also, one thing I am curious, is there a progression I should follow, with the courses??and when can I apply??at what point did any of you take the TEAS???sorry for soo many ???? but I want to be clear before I put alot into it, this time I am determined to get this done ISU or IVY-TECH...thanks so much!
