Looking outside of downtown Chicago for a job

U.S.A. Illinois

Published

Recently moved here from California where I worked in an out patient cancer infusion center. I am now living in Plainfield, Illinois. In the process of getting my license. Can anyone point me in the direction of a recruiter or know of anyone who can help me get started. I was in California for 2 years worked at the infusion center for 15 months, before that I worked on the Bone Marrow Transplant Floor at the University of Michigan as my first job out of school for almost a year there.

I know with my husband's schedule and my children it will not work for us to have me looking into the Chicago area but I was hoping someone knew of different areas.

Thanks for your time and help.

Have you looked at Loyola. They are in Maywood. I am not overly familiar with them, but, from what I can gather they a cancer day hospital. Are you looking to work in an infusion center again or are you open to other things in oncology. If you are wanting to stay in oncology they do have a bone marrow transplant unit. Check out their website. I believe they are the only hospital that is considered a comprehensive cancer hospital in the suburbs that also does BMT. You can also look at Edward Hospital in Naperville. I don't know the extent of their oncology. Hope that helps.
