Just wondering if anyone knows what the average teas score is for people who were accepted in the last few semesters for the nursing program. I know that they use a certain % for each criteria and base that towards your acceptance or denial into the program, but I have no idea if what a "good" score is. My overall teas score was a 79.3%, reading was 92.9%, I've got 5/6 classes completed and out of those I have a 3.8 GPA. I still have no idea if this is even close to being good enough to get in! Any thoughts and comments appreciated! Thanks!!!

From what I understand, last semester's average TEAS score was 79 composite and the average from the semester before that was 77. I don't know what the reading averages were. I'd say you have a pretty good shot of getting in. I'm waiting to hear too. Hopefully we will both have good news come April. :)

Good luck to you all! But if you don't get in, email and ask what position you are on the waiting list. I know that at least 5 or 6 people in my semester got in off the waiting list. But keep your phone on you at all times! If they call and you don't answer, they go to the next person.

I think the TEAS reading score accounts for at least 25% of your admission score. They found a huge correlation between TEAS reading scores and those who were successful in the program.

And I have also heard that emails will go out tomorrow, so check your email!

I hope they send them out tomorrow.....I'm having a hard time sleeping at night!!!! My teas test was an 82 overall with a 92 in Reading but I am currently in my second semester of Anatomy...I hoping that doesn't blow it for me!!! I'll keep everyone posted
