  1. I am also very interested in this program when I complete my ADN. Mind if I ask you a few questions? Was it as hard as it was to get into the actual RN program? Did you have to test to get in? Super high grades and competitive? Some schools I know won't take you if you have withdrawals on your prereq transcripts. Is that how it works there? How long were you an RN before deciding to go for your BSN? Would you suggest working for a bit after you pass boards and then start awhile after? I am worried that I won't want to go back and would really rather continue in school mode to get it done. How do clinicals work? Ok, sorry if those are a lot. Seeing that you look intensely busy...I am sorry if this is annoying!!!! Thanks for whatever information you can share :)
  2. ...also, this is kinda stupid and personal, but I fell a little behind this semester in MICRO studying for the TEAS and I have a hard (for me) class this semester (statistics) along with it, and I have one of the WORST teachers I have ever had in my entire life (no lie) and am currently getting a C going into the final. If I end up with a C, is this really going to matter or do I have to just have this to graduate? I really don't want to take it again....ever....
  3. I don't know how to private message on here yet, but does anyone know if we will be going into the full clinical day right from the start? I know I read on here something about 8 weeks? But does that mean that for the first 8 weeks that full day time slot will be empty instead of being at the hospital or will we be in actual class during that time? I know I have the CNA class for the first 4 weeks, then that ends. I just thought of this question and didn't ask during orientation. I hope my question makes sense. I am trying to get my schedule together at work so that I can take time off. Maybe LilwannabeRN can help?? :-)
  4. Thank you! Any advice obviously will always be welcome! Congrats to you for making it so far!
  5. Signed up for Track 1!
  6. Thank you so much! I was SOOOO hoping that you would see our thread and comment. I have seen how amazingly helpful you have been to newbies. :bowingpurYou are very sweet for doing so, and I hope you can be a friend to us Fall 2011 students as well. Thanks again!!!!
  7. I didn't sign up for that as of yet. Do you have any idea how we are supposed to go about doing that?
  8. I got in for days!!! Congratulations everybody! btw...I am absolutely terrified now!
  9. Hello! I waited to register for this site, as somehow I thought that I would jinx myself. I have been accepted for the 2011 Fall semester of the day nursing program at Joliet Junior College and would like to know who else has! :yeah:Let's start the circle of help early! I have seen this on here before and thought it was such a cool thing to do. I would love to share questions and concerns and "meet" the other newly admitted!
