...keep long O2 tubing from twisting on itself and kinking off. I'm having a problem w/my mother's Nasal Cannula tubing. Any tips would be very welcome!!!

I have no clue - hope someone can post something helpful. I just read this and had to point out how many patients I've seen in the ER from tripping and falling over oxygen tubing at home! Be careful, mom, of making sure to get enough oxygen (from kinked tubing) but also don't break a hip!!!

I've been in homes where they put the tubing in pre-arranged "paths" of conduits that they nailed along the walls, window sills, or baseboards. Same way that the cable guy might run the cable line around the room.

I like Caliotter's post about conduit for the tubing - I once had a patient accidentally drag her tubing across the warming plate on her coffee pot and you can guess what happened! ....Please be careful!
