HH pay rates in Philadelphia area?

Since I am considering reentering HHC, could someone please tell me the current acceptable pay per visit or per hour? - So I don't get ripped off! thanks a lot. BTW, I'm in the Phila area.

The last rate of pay I had, making Home Visits, was $45 - $55. per visit in CA. The agencies prefer to hire Nurses that way (part-time, no benefits), as it's much less expensive for them. Insurance companies and government health programs (Medicare/Medicaid, etc.) pay at least twice that to the agency.

Hello CARE For EVERYONE - happy holiday! Thanks again Lamaze teacher. I'll be starting back into home care next week, and I did find those rates to be the "new rate", compared w/a few yrs ago.
