We were told today that we will be getting IPads for work. Just wondering if anyone else uses these and if they are user friendly. They look like they would be hard to type on with the touch screen.

Well, we are still on paper too right now. The agency is owned by our local hospital, but we are managed by a company in Ohio called BRIDGE. I was shocked yesterday when they told us we would be getting Ipads. We all have been asking for laptops for a long time.

I would bet a paycheck that the reason you are getting them is because somebody wants an excuse to have one himself and he figured out this is the way to get the job to pay for it.

Nope. We have Panasonic toughbooks laptops that have a touch screen ...but the typing is on the regular keyboard. Touch screen is SO helpful with as long as the OASIS assessments are. But typing on a touchscreen will take a while to get used to I would think
