I am very curious on what your thoughts are on GMO's in our food and over the counter supplement supply.

Funny... somehow the Hospice and Oncology nurses get this issue....wonder why?
Seems odd doesn't it?

We need to question the rise in autoimmune disease such as Celiac, MS, Lupus, food allergies and other in relation to the 1980 patent for GMO. Please research the March Against Monsanto (the primary GMO) which takes places in hundreds of cities over 60 countries all over the world on May 23, 2015. Please join one of these Marches. Be an advocate for patients, family and future!

I would respectively disagree with you. Having worked in hospice for 15 years I can tell you I have seen more and more cancer in younger and younger people. The closer you eat to natural, non processed food the better off you are. If you can't pronounce the ingredients...I don't eat it :)
Alphabet-soup RN...you rock and you so get it.
Don't buy the lies or the GMO laden food.
Personally, I have my own chickens (Lucy, Ethel and Ricky Roo). My own two mini milk goats and have started my aqua ponics garden. Such fun!!

There is no scientific evidence that GMOs are harmful
so, so much misinformation about this topic
I would challenge anyone on this thread buying into the hype of the tinfoil hat crowd to cite one study proving they are harmful to humans
I would advise you look outside the US for research in this area. It is interesting that the entire country of Russia has outlawed the import of GMO foods...from anywhere in an attempt to protect it's food supply. What does Putin know that our Govt refuse to acknowledge? Or, perhaps the Monsanto lobby is just too large? One has to wonder. I will continue to grow my own food thank you very much.
Oh geez. Bandwagon arguments are total crap. Russia has also banned homosexuality, WHAT DOES PUTIN KNOW THAT OUR GOVT REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE??
The whole concept of Monsanto being this all powerful entity is just ludicrous. Monsanto made about as much money last year as whole foods. Facts are good- fear is not

You know what's both ironic and a little hilarious at the same time?
Not only do "organic" farmers use pesticides, just like evil GMO farmers do...but they actually have to use them in greater quantities because "natural" pesticides are not as effective.
I guess most people on this thread won't find that funny, but I do :)

You dare question that bastion of scientific knowledge and moral integrity known as Putin?

Then I guess we'll have to stay away from passion fruit. It's a shame cause I like passion fruit.
It is commonly processed into juice for consumption. According to Chan et al. (1972) , this fruit is highly acidic and it contains good source of niacin, riboflavin , vitamin C and vitamin A. It contains 14.41 to 21.9% of refractometeric solids, 21.9 to 69.9 mg/ (100 g samples) of ascorbic acid and 1073-1547 as i.u. of vitamin A/ (100g of samples) of carotene (Pruthi and Lal, 1959 ). 3,7-dimethylocta-1,5-diene-3, 7- diol, 3,7-dimethylocta-1,7-diene-3.6-doil, "
