Hesi A2 Lehman College

Nursing Students HESI

Published

Hey guys, I'm applying for CUNY Lehman's nursing program, Fall 2016, and I am really nervous. I have a 3.73 gpa, however I have recently have taken the HESI A2. I got an overall grade of 86, but I got a 68 on the anatomy section. My question is if Lehman looks at the overall grade or the grades of each section. Some people tell me it is the overall grade and others tell me it is the section. Please if anyone knows for sure it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

does anyone receive the email?

Not yet. I believe we will be hearing from next week.

Nothing yet!!! Sweetness92 said in the other Lehman forum that "she called yesterday and they had finished making the decisions". I keep staring at my email waiting for something to pop up lol.

I keep refreshing my email. I wish i could call again today but I think they know my voice too well by now lol.

Hey are there any other second degrees who applied for the accelerated program? If so how do you planned on paying for the program and supporting yourself through it? As a second degree student I don't qualify for any grants or scholarships offered through Lehman. I called the scholarship office and they told me most of the scholarships are for first-degree students only. I really don't want to take out a bunch of loans but I don't see any of viable options at the moment.

I'm a second degree student going for the accelerated as well. If we make the accelerated, I don't think there's much of a choice. I'm going to try and take out enough to last 14 months (12 for the program and 2 while I pass the NCLEX and look for a job). Hopefully it goes that smoothly (even though life has a way of laughing at a person's plans). Just look at it this way, its a 1 year investment for the rest of your life basically. I've spent years doing things that won't even amount to this. I'm sure you can tough out 1 year of loans for the benefit of your an awesome career.

Soooooooo, :sarcastic: anyone hear anything? Friends of friends maybe?
