Hesi A2 Lehman College

Published

Hey guys, I'm applying for CUNY Lehman's nursing program, Fall 2016, and I am really nervous. I have a 3.73 gpa, however I have recently have taken the HESI A2. I got an overall grade of 86, but I got a 68 on the anatomy section. My question is if Lehman looks at the overall grade or the grades of each section. Some people tell me it is the overall grade and others tell me it is the section. Please if anyone knows for sure it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

Hey Guys I just received my email I got in !!

Hey. Congratulations to those who have gotten into the Accelerated Program thus far. I don't mean to hijack your post but if you'd like to know more about the program, follow the link below (if it works or click username and follow my thread.)

I know who gets accepted all depends on the pool but I got in just shy of a 3.7 last year (but HESI overall was a 94). Relax, take a deep breath.

If you meant me, I think the info I have on the HESI would be outdated. I think most of us got in with 90+ overall though my friend scored an 84 on A&P section. Just try your best to score as high as possible but don't get in your own head during the exam.

Hi everyone! I am taking the HESI exam in March. I have a couple books, but any recommendations on review books that would be benefitial? Thanks!

im taking it next week, so excited

You need to pass each section individually with a 75. That's what they look at and get atleast an 800 on critical thinking. If you don't get in spend your money elsewhere. The stress that the professors put you through is unnecessary. Trust me you worked to hard get treated the way they will treat you if you get in. I hope everything works out! Goodluck!

Did you get accepted even with the 72 on anatomy? I have the same issue

Was the A&P portion really hard? I don't know anyone that's gotten in with less than a 75 but they may allow retakes this year like they did two or three years ago. Keep your fingers crossed. I would still apply--it's free.
