Hey everyone! So I have to take my hesi A2 exam in 5 days and one of the portions of the exam I have to take is biology. I've never taken biology in my Life and I'm stressing out on what kinds of questions will be on the test and what I have to study more for as a read through a biology book. Does anyone recall any questions they can give me as a reference or examples they recall from the test?! HELPP!

Do you have the Elsevier's HESI admission assessment exam review edition 3 book ?

Yes! Is that pretty much what I have to know for the biology portion?

I agree, if you don't have the Elsevier Hesi Admission Exam Review, you should get it. You can look for it at your library, or buy it from their website. It was the most helpful resource I used because it went over exactly what you needed to know. Biology is a big subject. You don't want to stress yourself out trying to study everything.

Yes. I only used that book to study for the bio portion and I received a 92% for that portion. Every question was from that book.

Hello, I take my Hesi Exam for Chamberlain in a couple weeks...Do you have any last minute tips? I have an overall 3.7gpa but I am very nervous about taking this exam...What are the Biology/Chemistry/AP questions like? I have been using McGraw-Hill's 3 Evolve Reach Practices Tests (Hesi A2) and I am pretty intimidated by some of the questions involving parts of plants/worms/beeswax, etc...were there any questions like that on the biology part? Do you suggest any websites where they had free practice tests? Thank you.

Hi! So I did not have to take the AP portion or the chemistry portion because I got at A in community college so I only had to take biology for the science portion on the HESI A2. I had never taken biology in my life so I watched "crash course biology" videos on you tube and I scored a 98% in that section. I suggest you watch his videos for AP and biology everyday for the next couple weeks because he talks about the basics, and the HESI A2 only covers the basics.

I remember for the math portion their were a lot of fractions, measurements (cm... in...temperature..ratios..), again, the basics. Don't stress if you study your book everyday atleast for an hour a day. You'll do fine. I used elsevier HESI A2 3 edition and that book was on point :).

Thank you for responding and for the great tips! I'll be sure to watch those videos (:
